Other Tips

The venue offers all the necessary equipment and supplies needed to play paintball, including guns, masks and high quality paintballs. It's advisable to wear loose-fitting, dark clothing (shorts and short sleeves are not recommended) and comfortable footwear with ankle support.

You will certainly get hit with paintballs during games. Don’t get too frustrated, get even, just paint your opponent. You will have more fun if you focus on the fact that paintball is a game. Like any other sport, you’ll do well when you have a strategy or a plan to play this game.

You must complete the indemnity form and register at the reception.
You must be at least seven (7) years of age to play.
If you are under eighteen years of age, a parent or a guardian must sign the indemnity form on your behalf.

Paintballs must be purchased at BZRK Paintball field!

Do not leave your paintball gear unattended. You are responsible and accountable for your gear whether you own or rent.
All rental gear must be returned to the rental counter when finished playing / before you leave the premises.
Unsafe play, unnecessary roughness, and profanity are grounds for ejection from the premises.
Never set a mask down with the lenses facing down on any surface. The best thing to do is to lay them on their side to avoid damage to the lenses. If you are given a damaged mask, you should return them for a replacement before the games begin so you won’t be charged for them.

To avoid losing your valuables, do not leave them in your pockets or lying on the tables during the games. Please leave your valuables in our lockers provided.

Thank you for your cooperation and have a great day of paintballing fun!

Safety Rules

The following rules are for your safety. The rules are enforced at all times, and apply to everyone who enters our premises.

All players must wear a FULL FACE MASK, during the games, or when instructed by the marshal . If your view through goggles is severely restricted due to paint and/or fogged up lens, please signal the marshal for assistance but Never Remove Your Face Mask, wait for help.
If your mask should become fogged, do not remove it. Bend down and put your head between your legs, then you can yell “blind man”. A marshal will stop the game and come to help you.

Barrel Plugs

Barrel plugs must be in your marker, and the safety device must be ON at all times except when a game is in progress, or when instructed by the marshal. Never for any reason should you ever attempt to look down the barrel of your paintball gun.

Marshal's Law

While in our playing fields, the marshal’s word is final. You must respect  the marshal’s ruling regardless of your own opinion. The field manager will be happy to discuss any concern, suggestion, or an opinion that you may have regarding our safety rules. There will be no verbal abuse and /or physical threats by anyone at anytime. Violators may be ejected from the premises without a refund.

If your opponent is within close range of your  fire, you must first offer ‘surrender’. You may take a single body shot at your opponent only if he/she ignores your offer or takes aim at you. No headshots at this short range. You may be removed from the game if you violate this rule.

When you are eliminated from a game, put your gun over your head and yell out that you are out of the game while leaving the field. Only this way will others know that you are dead or have been hit, so you won’t get shot at.

Chrono Your Gun

In order to determine your marker’s firing speed, you must test your marker at the shooting gallery before entering the field.  All guns will chronograph at or below 270 feet  per second (f.p.s). Our rental guns are pre-chrono’d so you don’t need to worry about this. Always point guns down when you are not playing a game.

This is an outdoor sport, and you will be playing in various fields throughout the day. While we try to maintain our fields in the most desirable condition, due to the natural settings and the rugged terrain, we strongly advise that you always stay alert and remain with your group at all times.

Helpful Tips

What Are Paintballs

These are similar to those vitamin capsules, with a coloured liquid inside . The paint inside the ball, is  a non-toxic, non-caustic, water-soluable and biodegradable. It rinses out of clothing and off the skin with mild soap and water. They  come in a rainbow of bright colours, and splash all over you or your clothing when they split!

What Are Markers

Paintball Markers are also called Paintball guns – and they come in a variety of shapes and styles (visit our store for more options). Some are powered by carbon dioxide (CO2), others by nitrogen (N2) or compressed air.  Most of them have power systems that use large refillable cylinders called tanks/ bottles. They range from simple to sophisticated, but what they all share in common is a limitation on their power (speed) and range. A chronograph is used to test for speed limits, and all Paintball guns can be adjusted to shoot at the desired speed limit.

What Should I Wear?

Wear good shoes. High top shoes or boots that provide ankle protection are also good.
Layering is the key to protection and comfort. Several light layers are preferable. It provides better absorption of the impact of the paintballs and allows you to be  enjoy  a comfort level to the temperature and activity.
Wear loose layers of fabric that "breathes". Try and cover every part of your body. Being hit on bare skin hurts, although it does not do permanent damage (a bruise or a welt, depending on the range and your skin type). Camouflage is important! For maximum comfort and invisibility the camouflage outfits that are part of the rental at BZRK provide the most effective outer layer. You will be running up and down hills, diving into brush, crawling on your belly like a lizard, jumping into gullies, rolling down hills and falling to your knees and stomach many times during the day.

What If It Rains?

We don't charge extra for the mud. Avid paintball players love to play rain or shine. The weather is cooler to play in and definitely more wild and challenging.

What Will It Cost?

Cost varies depending on if you use our rental equipment or have your own, the number of players in your group and how many paintballs each person uses. Prices, gift certificates and other information are found on our website.
